Collaboratrice per molti anni del Prof. Avv. Cesare Grassetti e assistente alla Cattedra di Diritto Civile dell’Università degli Studi di Milano, poi Partner fondatrice con il marito Salvatore Trifirò dello Studio Trifirò & Partners Avvocati di Milano.
Esperta di diritto di famiglia e successioni con l’amore per il diritto e una passione per i libri sia antichi che nuovi, nella sua casa milanese ospita una importante Bibliotheca Culinaria (www.trifirobibliothecaculinaria.com) che supera i 5.000 volumi e abbraccia tutto il mondo del cibo e della cucina, incluse molte opere del passato, preziosi incunaboli e cinquecentine. Come giornalista ha collaborato a lungo con Il Giorno, Capital, Class, Class Country, ViviMilano, Ville e Casali, A Tavola, nonché per oltre vent’anni con l’indimenticabile Luigi Veronelli (“un Maestro e un amico”) per la sua rivista l’Etichetta, anticipatrice dell’attuale visione della cucina. Appassionata e esperta di storia della cucina, nel 2021 ha pubblicato il “Dizionario irresistibile di storie in cucina” per Cairo Editore con la prefazione di Ferruccio de Bortoli. Dal 2022 cura la Column “L’ospite felice” pubblicata sulla rivista Vanity Fair Italia.
Collezionista di salini e pepini, ne possiede una colorata e sorprendente raccolta di oltre 2.000 pezzi (www.trifirosaltandpeppercollection.com). In occasione di Expo 2015 una parte significativa della collezione è stata ospitata in mostra alla Triennale di Milano e raccontata nel libro “Salt & Pepper Shakers” con la prefazione di Ferruccio de Bortoli, per molti anni Direttore del Corriere della Sera.
Appassionata velista con il mare nel cuore, ha partecipato attivamente alla progettazione e alla realizzazione di splendidi superyachts come Kokomo of London, Zefira (in New Zealand) e Ribelle (in Netherlands) a bordo dei quali con suo marito Salvatore ha partecipato a numerose regate internazionali con equipaggi di altissimo livello guidati da Francesco De Angelis, mitico skipper di Luna Rossa e da Neville Crichton, armatore e skipper della famosa Alfa Romeo e vincitore di oltre 140 regate.
La lunga storia velica di Paola e Salvatore Trifirò li ha visti armatori di 14 diverse imbarcazioni, dal 7 metri Calife del cantiere Jouët e dal 14 metri Venturia del cantiere Dufour Yachts fino ai maxi yacht capaci di affrontare gli oceani come il 25 metri Happy Taurus e il 32 metri Anamcara entrambi del cantiere Jongert (che li hanno portati ad esplorare l’Alaska), fino al 40 metri Kokomo di Alloy Yachts, il 50 metri Zefira progettato da Dubois Naval Architects e costruito da Fitzroy Yachts e il 33 metri Ribelle progettato da Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design e costruito da Vitters Shipyard. Nel 2022 Paola e Salvatore hanno varato il MY Mabelle, 24 metri del cantiere Arcadia Yachts (www.ribellemabelle.com).
Dal 2011 Paola Trifirò è stata nominata Giudice del World Superyacht Awards, che ogni anno premia le barche più significative costruite dai cantieri più importanti del mondo. Nel 2024, a Venezia in occasione del grande evento World Superyacht Awards, accompagnata da una standing ovation, è stata insignita del prestigioso premio Legacy Award con la motivazione: “Paola has built and sailed a number of spectacular superyachts and is well known and respected in the industry. She is a great personality, and through her long-term work as a judge, she has supported the industry in many ways. She is an icon, instantly recognisable and highly knowledgeable”.

Collaborator for many years of Prof. Lawyer Cesare Grassetti and assistant at the Chair of Civil Law at the University of Milan, then founding partner with her husband Salvatore Trifirò of Trifirò & Partners Avvocati in Milan.
Expert in family law and succession with a love for law and passion for both old and new books, in her home she hosts a Bibliotheca Culinaria (www.trifirobibliothecaculinaria.com) that exceeds 5.000 volumes and embraces the entire world of food and cuisine, including many works of the past, precious incunabola and some important sixteenth century works. As a journalist she has collaborated with Il Giorno, Capital, Class, Class Country, ViviMilano, Ville e Casali, A Tavola, as well as for over twenty years with the unforgettable Luigi Veronelli (“a Master and a friend”) for his magazine l’Etichetta, an anticipation of the current vision of cooking. Author in 2021 of the “Dizionario irresistibile di storie in cucina” with the preface of Ferruccio De Bortoli, for many years editor of Corriere della Sera. Expert in the history of cooking and good living, since 2022 she writes a witty column “L’ospite felice” (The happy guest) on Vanity Fair Italy.
Collector of Salt and Pepper shakers Paola has a surprising and colourful collection of over 2,000 pieces (www.trifirosaltandpeppercollection.com), which on the occasion of Expo 2015 was hosted in a big exhibition at the Triennale of Milan and told in the amusing book “Salt & Pepper Shakers”, which includes a small but significant story of these important aliments.
Passionate sailor with the sea in her heart, she actively took part of the design and realization of gorgeous superyachts as Kokomo of London, Zefira and Ribelle, onboard of whom with her husband Salvatore she participated in numerous international regattas with crews of the highest level led by Francesco De Angelis, the mythical skipper of Luna Rossa and Neville Crichton, the owner of famous Alfa Romeo, winner in at least 140 races.
The long sailing history of Paola and Salvatore has seen them owners of 14 different boats, from the 7 metres Calife of the Jouët shipyard and the strong 14 metres Venturia of the Dufour Yachts to maxi yachts capable of facing the oceans such as the Jongert’s 25 metres Happy Taurus and the 32 metres Anamcara (who brought them to explore Alaska), till the 40 metres Kokomo by Alloy Yachts, the 50 metres Zefira designed by Dubois Naval Architects and built by Fitzroy Yachts and the 33 metres Ribelle designed by Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design and built by Vitters Shipyard.
